RESIDENCE INTRA-BUSINESS TRANSFER
The residence permit for business transfer is a visa dedicated to those foreign workers (non-EU citizens) who are transferred to continue performing their services with a foreign company or business group with offices in Spain. This permit allows them to legally live and work in the country for a whole renewable year
Mainly, this special type of residence permit regulated by the Spanish Entrepreneurs Law is for people who are going to take training in Spain, for managers who will lead a team or for workers who will offer their services at the Spanish headquarters of the company or group .
WHO IS IT AIMED AT?
These are workers who already have a job in the same company where they will work, but now it will be in Spain. They will simply change the country they work from.
The worker will not be registered in Spain. He or she will maintain the contract with the company in the country of origin.
The company will be in charge of transferring the salary, paying the social security contributions and maintaining the legal obligations with the worker.
There are two options for people transferred within the same company, always for citizens of countries outside the European Union.
The choice of one or another category it will depend on the type of worker the company plans to transfer.
